“Be a Chalk Artist”
When I was young, my dad gave up his dreams of entrepreneurship in order to provide for our family via a traditional job, but he always encouraged my sister and I to pursue any career as long as it made us happy. He’d say “Do what makes you happy, do what feels right, even if that’s chalk art!”.
As we have grown professionally, “be a chalk artist” is now symbolic of “do whatever speaks to your soul”. It's something I’ve achieved in my business, and something I’m passionate about supporting my clients in doing for themselves.
And as it turns out, chalk artist is a real job, and it’s pretty cool.

After transferring from a local community college, Alyssa graduated from Georgetown University. She used her “make it happen” mentality to comb through financial aid literature and learn how to secure enough aid for a nearly full ride. She started her own business to break out of the corporate mold, becoming her own boss and lending herself the flexibility she didn't get in a traditional 9-5 job. Alyssa is a firm believer that your career should support your lifestyle and not the other way around.
Her firm belief drives her primary goal for clients: to empower and support them in achieving financial well-being so they can make decisions based on what's best for their businesses and personal lives, not on financial constraints. This is reflected in her strong ability to make each of her clients finances clear and understandable in a way that they understand.
